Interview with Melanie Grant, broadcast journalist Age
27, Comes from London.
What does your work involve?
What would a typical day
be like for you?
How did you manage to work
as a journalist at the BBC?
Did you always want to do
something like this?
How did you get your 'foot
in the door'?
What did you do then?
And what do you like most
about your job?
What about the not so good
bits?
Any advice for other aspiring
broadcasters?
Lots! You have to be imaginative and you have to be persistent.
If you find an obstacle blocking your path, you have to find
a way round it - you have to get back on that path. You must
never give up and you must always smile!
And do you look forward to
work every day?
