What does your job involve?
What's a normal day like?
Did you always want to be a press photographer?

Any advice for aspiring press photographers?
Get your camera out and start practising. Take pictures of friends, family, neighbours. Go to your local paper and ask for work experience. Don't be set back if people say no. Keep asking. Remind people who you are and what you can do. Training is important but press photography doesn't necessarily require a degree in photography. There are photojournalism courses run by the NCTJ, although these are tough to get onto.
